Our aim is to help our learners gain experience through high quality work placements and internships. We’re looking for businesses of all shapes and sizes to help young people aged 16 – 25 who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP), to widen their skill set and broaden their horizons.
As a business partner, you’ll have the opportunity to offer supported internships to young learners, giving them the chance to thrive in their chosen career, providing pathways into permanent paid employment.

Our learners will be supported by job coaches, giving them bespoke skills to thrive in your business. You’ll have the opportunity to increase the diversity of your workforce. Our job coaches and access to work fund can provide excellent opportunities for businesses to engage with the project, improve recruitment without additional costs.
What commitment do we need to make?
Businesses will have the opportunity to take both short-term work experience placements, as well as fully supported internships. Internships normally last for a year and include unpaid work placements of at least six months.
Businesses will be of the understanding that the majority of young people with SEN are capable of sustainable paid employment and all professionals working with them will share that presumption.
